From the files of Professor Lavinia AurelisStudy: Hiland GlabrousFrom what I can gather from The Hinterland Documents, the being known as Hiland Glabrous was once a human from our world. It seems he died while saving a young girl from a riptide, although it was reported he was not a strong swimmer and was, in fact, afraid of the ocean. Poseidon took pity upon him and revived Hiland as a Water Spirit in The Hinterland, bound to serve those in need when asked as sort of an elemental summon. Through my research, I have discovered evidence that Hiland was summoned over the years during times of distress in our own world although this practice seems to have ceased several hundred years ago. I am still searching for information regarding this interesting character. Elemental Charge:  Water; It is unknown if he had one as a human (Note: it has yet to be proven if humans have elemental charges).
Age: 39 at time of death. (Length of time since death is unknown as of now.)
Birthplace: (Currently unknown, although rumored to be somewhere south of the Ravigneaux Empire.)
Species: Born human; Upon death, was turned into a Water Spirit by Poseidon.
